Always thought about crotch rockets..My ass can't sitting on anything made by those who bombed Pearl Harbor..So this project had been in the works for awhile..I picked up a 2000 Dyna and the shit came together..Road Rage in Fresno built the motor..103ci..SS 560 lift cams, Kieth Black 10.5 to 1 piston, ported and polished, fueling oil pump, TRW bearings through out.Mukuni 48 with a K&N..gears gone through..Paint is Dupont Tangerine Orange Satin..Ness fairing and we raised the the headlight 10 inches and used all the existing chrome..Topped it off with a White Brother Tunable header..The rear wheel dyno was 127hp

Got it running Sunday afternoon about 4pm and rolled 500 miles on it today..The fucker runs..120 in fourth...I would guess 155 top..New rear metzler is half gone right down the middle..Is it fun yes,,but much more seat time and I will have to call Dave and find the cure..LOL..So 600 miles in three days and in the morning the Old Shovel comes out my ass and blood presusure need a rest..Ride on..

It is lowered 2" in the back with progressives shocks and 2 over with progressives in the front..It will kick jap ass down a straight..cornering is weak,,but for a real thrill park it at Starbucks and sit close so you can hear the comments as the citizens walk by..

This year has been a different one for me. I had slowed down for years, take it easy and enjoy..Right now I find balls to the wall and riding like I was twenty again is more fun..I been riding the shovel hard even..but I guess if I do get the first speeding ticket in years I will either go to jail or traffic school...LOL

Neither sound like fun to me so I will hope you just do not get caught....lol

Class version of the crotch. I have been bitching that I need to find a basket case to ressurect.

I need something to bounce on. Well, I'm not the all knowing in the gear head dept, but I would bet my ass, (not that its worth much at the moment) that you could do 150+. 70hp gets me somewhere around 115 if my speedo is right on. Balls get you into trouble...yup, lol

Solution is...just ride it out until you can't feel your ass anymore...it stops hurting after that.

that's quite the thrill - trailer and push - then sip a frappywhippedshit and listen for the ooooohhhhhs and aaaaahhhhhhhhs - damn harley guy

not online much anymore - could've logged in tonight - changed oil instead - damn near went with mobil 1 - looked at the api, thought better of it - then I surfed - friggin' friction modifiers in car engine oil - none in bike oil - them thingies cause your wet clutch ta slip and a whole bunch more - today an oil change - tomorrow??? - so if I take over the world am I responsible for the bills too???

dude stopped by work with an '08 Jackpot the other day - first time I got up close to the other "American made" - nice bike -= real friggin' pricey though - do they ever pay attention to detail - if I'm ever gonna give up riding and pose it would be with onea dem, I'm thinkin' - ornot

Well I don't ride like you do Clickster..I think I only have about 6000 miles the last few weeks on the three in the stable..Damn I wish I had a metric bike so I could brag about how it never breaks and has no resale value other than scrap..but we know why they build them so cheap..been using the same tin since 1964..LOL

click said...

that tin holds up - when I suck the equity outta this place and pay for the next I'm thinkin' - older wing - 94, somethin' like that, 30 - 40k on it - should be good for another 200k or so - take the one I have now and either bob, chop or mod - fucker ain't never gonna die - may as well have some fun with it - ya know???

Blow torch and a shotgun..I wanna help..Oh the blow torch and the shotgun are for me if I ever think about riding a Pearl Harbor bomb..damn

the old man was gonna sign for my first honda - he thought they were cool - bet he wanted to ride the fucker - the bike got nixed when he said those 4 fuckin' words - "better ask your mother first" - ok, 5 - anyway - he served in that war, fought the japs in the phillipines - gettin' a honda was cool with him so it's cool with me - just sayin'

reminds me - I'm in Germany - a friend invites me and Glen for Sunday dinner - his German girl's parents house - so we eat and all's cool - then we're sittin' and suckin' em down and the older dudes - her dad and his friends - they start tellin' war stories - just like the old man and his buds - except, these stories are from the other side - ya know, they sounded the same - pretty cool

Cool Clickster..I did 2 1/2 years in Stuttgart..I did enjoy getting away from our own and enjoying the Germans..Wanna go back someday..

I was in Munich - on leave, partyin' hard - months before the Olympics - man, that event changed everything - the small towns - the back roads where, if you didn't pay a whole lotta attention rounding curves, you'd slam into a herd of cows some farmer was taking for "a walk" - the people - it was very cool - spent a little over a year there, the rest of my 2 years overseas in Spain - during Franco's rule - now that was different
