i keep coming back to look more... that front wheel mount, the springer, that beefy smooth brake arm, the clean pipe angles, i can see it... did you mark the fender cause you're gonna shorten it further?

pipes are gonna be changed been up all fucking night thinking about em , decided the bottom pipe is way too long , plus the kick up allthough it looks all "Flash Gordon" dosn't flow right with the lines of the bike so fuckit the kick ups will be cut off the top pipe extended and they'll end up equal length and Shotgunned straight back

last of the Brackets ill be Fabbed Today , gotta get all the Eletrical crap mounted .

drew a line from the Rar Axle top Pipe and rear mudgaurd will be cut to line up with that , then the rear pipe will be measured and the front pipe cut to the same length , figure they'll end up near 40" in length a piece . So Equal Length Shotguns with 2" Bore and Baffles means it'll run and sound even .

Never been keen on the Fashion Pipes that run near each other , shortshots look great but the rear pipe is allways way to short and on idle you can hear the difference they sound like the engine is running un even

so fuckit i not only wan't the bike to look right but i wan't it to run and more importantly sound right

Anyho the FXR Engine is only a Temp fix after the bikes on the road its not finished .

Next up is to carry on scrimping and saving not as extremeley this time i'm fed up ith budget food and beer but the Future Plan is to Purchase a S & S Shovelhead Engine to put in the chassis , maybe then it'll be finished somehow though i doubt it ........LMAO

Pug,
You gonna heat wrap the pipes?
Think 40" is maybe too short so maybe worth going the old "Hot Rod" route and lagging the short pipes, enables 'em to keep heat and stops back pressure building too high.

nah not gonna "Bandage" me Pipes to be honest i think it looks shit and after a while scruffy as they pick up dirt and crap

40" is only a guess simply coz the bikes in Wisbech , but even on 40's it'll still run fine with Baffles in

i'll know the pipe length in a fe weeks hen hopefully its here at home in one big piece and i'm out riding it

the only really crucial measurement is 34" thats how Wide the entrance is to me Flat so i can park it in the living room when i'm at work and at night to whisper sweet nothings to it lol
