Hard to believe how fast the years go by since the Twin Towers toppled and for a short time we were a country united. I was sitting back having my morning coffee and watching MSNBC before they became a platform for liberal politics and we didn't have fox news yet. A buddy called me it must of been 6:30 am and asked if I was watching the news..Seconds after the call I watched the second plane hit tower two...
I remember the goosebumps, fear and anger..Outrage and emptiness..I stayed home and watched the TV the whole day and like most of Americans in total disbelief..
Today I am feeling disbelief over the direction my country is heading. We have a group of elected morons who despite the will of the people are taking the country in a direction we do not wish to go..Speak up and be heard my friends..

Yea, no shit. I just got back from a Traffic Commission meeting. On the 29th it’s a City Council meeting. Nine e-mails between me and my Councilman in the last four days. And this is just a small local issue. How many pissed off people let their state and federal reps know in no uncertain terms just how the hell they feel? Not to damn many I’ll bet. Well I sure as hell do! I bitch at them constantly. My vote put them there and my vote can get rid of them (pretty naïve of me). My taxes pay their asses, and as far as I’m concerned they’re all my personal bitches put there to do my bidding. To bad it doesn’t always work that way. But just because I loose a few doesn’t mean I’ll stop trying. I just get more pissed and hit at them harder. If folks don’t get their heads out of their asses and start standing up for themselves, soon, I have no f’ing idea where this Country is heading.
This ain't our daddys' America for sure. Liberal, lying, scum bags that get re-elected because people think it isn't their representatives that need to get removed from office. I hope the voters are paying attention and in 14 months clean out the US House and start a new trend of one and done unless they truly represent the common folks who put them there.

It's always been this way. It always will be this way. What makes the difference? People putting enough flies in the ointment to keep them at least partially honest.
I'm guilty of just accepting the way things are...I'm done doing that. I have reached a boiling point. It's time to scald the skin of those who lit the fire.
It was shocking but you know what? Other countries deal with this kind of crap on a regular basis. We are still a great nation but it's ending here soon. Every great nation has fallen, and being that we are the longest surviving democracy in recorded history, if you can truly call it a democracy, scares me. I'm thinking that the change is coming soon because it's long overdue.
