WTF...Ya I still ride!!!

Deep down and dark feeling slowly made it's way through my bones last night..No I can't do it..not again..not today...One more night of Fox's news and I would have been loading the guns..well making sure they were loaded..and taking back the country..or shooting the TV..I need a rare burger and fries..I need some wind..Hot wind but wind..and I have a lonely Shovelhead that needs some TLC...That's throttle locked and cocked by the way...

Been awhile since we shared a little road rage and burger..I need to ride a ride..I miss the feel, hard seat,,bad handling and oil leaks..The sound of the straights, long cam shiver...10 to1's shaking the mirrors...So I dust her off..drop out the kicker and just like it always works line up that third kick and off we roll..

Miss my old dog brother Ernie on these got to eat nights..but I can still do a little lane splitting on my own..You ever mount up knowing it ain't no pleasure cruise..It's ride like hell to calm your nerves ride..those who don't ride should be real confused about now..That's right..stick your neck in the wind to calm your ass down...Ride on..

So a few more hours than I planned on riding past..had to stop for a snack on the ways..Burned a lot of energy letting it all hang out..I'm thinking I am about to do again tonight..ya I still ride..

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT: Overwhelm the system

Barack Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the  U.S.  economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within. 

Barack Obama is my college classmate ( Columbia   University , class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at  Columbia   University . They outlined a plan to socialize  America  by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below.

Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

-- Make  Puerto Rico  a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt  America . But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.

-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting  America . The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my  Columbia   University  college classmate Barack Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan

The truth about politics..

Let's cut the bullshit..Both of our parties in power don't really care about America, Americans or those who elected them..It is a screw fest and we are on the receiving end..Oil spill..Nobama ignores it..More people he can keep on welfare the more voters he can sustain..and parties, golf and cameo TV shots have a greater importance than fixing what's broken anyway..The grand old republican party who I once supported would rather stand back and use a disaster as a chance to get votes than step in and try and fix it.. I'm of the opinion that they are both scum of the earth and we need to toss their ass out, put them on welfare or make them guard the boarder..Speaking of the boarder...

So now we have Eric Holder who refuses to press charges against the Black Panthers for voter intimidation going after Arizona...Now supporting criminal activity should by all means be an impeachable offense..Not allowing a state to protect it's legal citizenry and to blatantly support criminal border busters is not only wrong but totally against the foundation our country was build on..Don't even go with we were all immigrants..Read the Ellis Island logs or speak with anyone who has come to this country through the legal channels..

Bottom line is today we suck as a country thanks to our politics..Bail outs..apologetic Moron in charge..Our politicians do what ever it takes to get elected mentality..fuck the people..get the vote..Time to start over boys and girls before we have nothing left to start over with..Rat......    

Tamale Trip...

So the Dirty One baled on me..Packed his shit and moved to Idaho..been planning a trip that way for the last couple of months just never had the time to make it happen..Glides here and ready to try and make ammends so we loaded and did this weekend..

Now last time I checked Idaho was north of me but as we rolled toward the on ramp the glide went south..Well I was just along for the ride so I let it do what ever it wanted..damn thing need to prove it worth..So after a couple of hundred miles of needed detour I find myself headed up 395..Ok as long as your sorry ass don't fall to pieces on me again this works..I pop some Tom Petty in the CD player, crank it up...at some point turned up the volume too..

Hard rolling on the twister on the 110ci stage 3 does feel pretty damn good..I find myself drifting into that road comfort zone that my soul had been craving..I look down and the dawg is pushing 100mph..good for you let's see how long you can do it..we ride..Thinking that depending on how this week goes it might be my last good ride for the summer..put it out of your mind and enjoy...

Hadn't seen the Dirty One in a few months and had really missed Maria's cooking..So a few good meals,,some oil changing..road lies..a trip around and above Eagle Idaho....the Rat was feeling almost alive again..as we headed back to the real world..life's good..ride hard.. 

An Old Goat...

I sneaked out the backdoor and fired up the shovel a few days back..Had that urge to feel some wind..Glide is home and in the number two spot..It's going to have to work real hard at proving itself..Little hot that day but I didn't mind..Told not to ride and that makes even more important to do so..That I need to ride feeling has been missing,,,I needed that feeling to find it's way back..

A couple of hours in to back roads to nowhere I stopped and got some water and backed up to a tree..slide down to enjoy..Had that sensation of something creeping up on me so I slowly turned to look..There stood this poor old ugly mean looking goat..Howdy Mister Goat..what's up..Unlike most goat who are loud and whinny Mister Goat just stood there chilling..It got me thinking..Young goats and old goats,,youth and experience..I betting me and the old goat were noisy and annoying in our youth..Get a little older you find that not saying anything at times is the boldest statement you can make..

So as we sat back and shared a ham and cheese..watched the fish jumping in the pond beside us me and the goat we sorta figured things out..nothing said, nothing lost..just to old goats enjoying a afternoon..As I rode away I got to thinking..you know me and Mister Goat are gonna do this again one day soon...See Ya...    

The Glide and other junk...

Got the Glide back..new 110ci of fun..wait..Nice I could get use to it..like the bags I can carry rocks in them for the collection..they do rattle a bit..the rocks..Bike was nice for a short time..Shifting got hard between 3rd and 4th..then as the miles wore on it made it to the rest of the gears..It is back home..at the shop..anyone wants it. with less than 4000 miles on it I will take a loss..Might trade it in for a Dyna..Might light it on fire and roast hotdogs..

Went to the doc yesterday..Looks like riding is gonna be slow this year..Health shit has jumped back in the way again..I went through the pissed off..the fuck it and other fine feeling that go along with the news..Jumped on the shovel for a little cool down period and not a block from the doc's place I get pulled over..some jerk off stole the blue license plate off the bike..Now that really pissed me off..ruined a perfect afternoon of life threating lane splitting..Like it mattered..

Well things calm down..life goes on and we just deal with what is tossed our way..It is no big deal..Blood pressure is still good so if I can't ride much it just opens up more time for rants..Maybe a few more old stories will pop up along the way..See Ya... 

Thanks to the Troops..

Been lucky the last few weeks..Got a contract at Fort Irwin..the last stop our troops make on the way to war..I spent some time there this week doing my thing and watching the young men and women training hard to be the best they can be..To serve us to make us proud to be who we are..To keep us free from the scum that would like nothing better than to harm us on our own soil..

So from my vantage point above them I spent the day watching them, work, smile and sweat..I remember my time back years ago, I could feel their feelings but I am sure not to the extent they face..You could sense apprehension but not fear, You could feel the attitude,,well deserved and earned..Pride in what had been accomplished and what will be accomplished..Respect for those around them and their fellow troops..You could see and hear the the lack of lines drawn due to race, color or religion..A team..our team..

As I was driving home after a twenty hour day I found myself smiling, feeling better about our country and our future..We have a fine bunch of young American patriots protecting us from evil..I trust them and know they have our back..they also have our future..they are our future..So today I thank all who serve today and in the past for all we have as a nation and as a people..you guys rock...

Riding not ranting,,well sort of..

The sun doesn't rise around the rants..but it's hard to escape the news..the doom the gloom..we are in place that is both self inflicted by our piers and painful to our future..as both American's as we know it and people of freedom..So I turned of the news and tunred on the shovel..

Had some plans but they took a turn..or I took a turn..what ever it didn't happen..The weather is cool..too cool for this time of year but that just excites that old shovelhead..If it stays under 80 the beast just loves to run..Happy to help out I climbed on..Like a normal rat outing I have no destination, no place to be and nobody waiting for me to show..I just let the old dog lead the way, after all these years it knows what makes me smile..

So we find us some backroads to savor and cruise..It's what I enjoy and where I want to be..the shovel, the lonely roads and me..I can feel tension slipping away as we turn down the next avenue of hopes and dreams..I find my serenity in the roar of my pipes..I feel fresh freedom and let loose of my gripes..I take in the world as it flashes by me, I could slow down and enjoy but today the speed set me free..It takes a few hours but I get to where I needed to be..relax, rebellious..happy and me...

I seem to be at an age the doing what I have to do pisses me off but I do it,,Doing what needs to be done has become more important than do what I want to do..It's a hard change for young and not caring to the point you worry about the future..I skip that need time to take in the road..every time I do it quenches the soul yet I I tend to ignore the call of the wind in those times I feel the need..You know getting older sucks...LOL..ride on Friends..
